One of Richards long time friends was Bill Boyd "Exective Director of the ACM. and Talent coordinator for Dick Clark Productions. Bill was a collector of Richards art work and it hung in his home and office. Richard designed and created this logo for Bill Boyd. It was used when he was a talent coordinator for Dick Clark Productions, and the Executive Director of the Academy of Country Music. Later the logo was used for the Bill Boyd Celebrity Golf Classic. It was hosted by Garth Brooks, Glen Campbell, Willie Nelson, Brooks and Dunn, Alabama
